Nourishing Drumstick Soup

Drumstick /Moringa offers a plethora of health benefits. It regulates blood sugar levels. Helps improve digestive health. Great for developing stronger bones. Helps purifying blood. Relieves respiratory disorders. Boosts immunity. Moringa has been proclaimed as one the more recent superfoods.

So add more drumsticks to you diet and make the most of it!

Ingredients:

  • Pods of 2-3 drumstick
  • Ginger 1 inch
  • Turmeric powder
  • Rock salt

Method:

In a pan boil 5 cups of water

Now add washed, trimmed and chopped drumstick pods

Add ginger

Turmeric powder and salt

Cover the pan with a lid and let it boil for 20 to 25 mins

Switch off stove

When it is done, strain the broth.

Now the hot drumstick soup is ready to serve

Tips

* The longer you cook the broth, the more flavour it will have

* Matured drumsticks are better option for this soup

* Squeeze in lime for a tangy flavour

* Drumstick leaves can be added while cooking
