Inji maangai nellikai pachadi
Inji maangai nellikai pachadi is a South Indian side dish recipe which is delicious, nutritious and easy to make. It uses Inji maanga or mango ginger (looks like ginger but has a mango flavour) and Indian gooseberry.
The inji maanga is related to the turmeric family and is a coolant, an anti-allergen and aids in curing cough, diarrhea, and fever. It has antibacterial and antibiotic properties.
Gooseberry is good for the eyes, supports heart health and increases appetite. This recipe is especially good for diabetics.
