”Let’s Target Wellness… Let’s Eradicate Illness”
Yes, it’s quite simple just like how it sounds.
Friends, multitasking has become the routine lifestyle especially during one’s midlife and our general wellness gets neglected.
Only time management can help us to have a healthy future. Please inculcate this habit to the younger generation.
Remember at the end of each day, all what we need is a contented heart and sound sleep. Spend quality time with your family and friends and always create a positive energy around you.

World Kidney Day Awareness Program and Felicitation of Donors
The World Kidney Day was celebrated on the 14th March 2019 at our hospital to increase the global awareness of the importance of the kidneys and focus on early diagnosis of kidney disease. Our senior Nephrologist Dr.R. Balasubramaniam conducted the awareness program and also felicitated few of our renal donors. Most of the patients and renal donors were among the many, who had gathered for the program. It was an emotional event and most of the donors were touched by the honour given to them.
Dr Bhuvaneshwari Rajendran, Consultant Neurologist and the President of the Rotary Club for the Temple City Chennai addressed the function and donated 2 dialysis machines to Kauvery Hospital. Her gracious gesture was accentuated with a noble touch by our Executive Director, Dr Aravindan Selvaraj, who further announced subsidised dialysis for the weaker section of the society as a part of CSR activity.
The donors appreciated the mementos given to them. It was truly a memorable and an emotional day.
World Purple Day Celebrations
What is Purple Day? Purple day was started by a nine-year-old girl Cassidy Megan in Canada. It was started as a motivation, against her very own struggle for epilepsy. It’s for the international awareness of epilepsy and to drive away the myths associated with this neurological disorder. Its aimed to remove the social stigma and to encourage people who are affected by this condition and to make them feel, that they are normal like anyone else.
Our Senior Neurologist and Neurosurgeon Dr Prithika Chary organised the Purple Day event at Kauvery hospital. Panel discussions were conducted by Consultant Neurologists Dr Bhuvaneshwari Rajendran and Dr Prithika Chary. It was an enlightening, encouraging and interactive session. This interaction helped break, the myths about epilepsy and kindle the confidence in the youth.
Purple colour T shirts were given to everyone which read “A Full life with everyone, like everyone”.
It was a heart warming celebration which was much appreciated by the patients and attendees who gathered there!!!
