The patient will be evaluated to find out if he is fit for a lung transplantation with a pre-transplant evaluation.

Pre-Transplant Evaluation

The schedule depends upon how well you are and if you are able to tolerate activity. Some of these are:

Pulmonary Function Tests:

These tests measure breathing capacity. You will be asked to breathe in and out as fully as possible while a technologist measures the amount of air and the strength of your lungs.
