Dr G Freeda
Dr Freeda is a skilled anesthesiologist with expertise in paediatric anaesthesia and pain management. He completed his MBBS at PSG Institute of Medical Sciences, Coimbatore, in 2008, followed by an MD in Anesthesia from Gandhi Medical College, Bhopal, in 2012. He further specialised with a Post Doctorate Fellowship in Paediatric Anesthesia (PDFPA) at Childs Trust Hospital, Chennai.
With over a decade of experience, Dr Freeda has worked in leading institutions, including the Institute of Child Health, Egmore, and Government Vellore Medical College. He is now an Assistant Professor at Madras Medical College.
Dr Freeda is proficient in pre- and post-anesthesia care, pain management, and advanced techniques like USG-guided regional blocks, ensuring safe and effective care for paediatric and adult patients.

- Awarded the TN JHA AWARD for paper presentation at the Annual State MP ISACON Conference 2011, Ujjain, on “Reasons for Start Time Delay of Surgeries in OT – A Questionnaire-Based Cross-Sectional Study.”
- Secured 2nd place in the PG Quiz Competition at the Annual State MP ISACON Conference 2011, Ujjain.
- Achieved 2nd place for the paper presentation on “Comparative Study of Dexmedetomidine and Clonidine for Premedication in Patients Undergoing Intracranial Tumor Surgery” at the Annual State MP ISACON Conference, October 2011, Ujjain.
- Won 3rd place for the same paper presentation at the 13th Annual National Conference of Neuro-Anesthesia, held in Bhopal, February 2012.
