With 38 years of medical practice, including 24 years specializing in geriatric medicine, she has demonstrated proven expertise in providing comprehensive care, diagnosing and treating various women’s health ailments, and supporting patients through all stages of life.
Her multifaceted role includes not only her contributions as a doctor but also her active counseling at a de-addiction center. Dr. Sujatha is renowned for her honesty, straightforwardness, and unwavering commitment. Dr. Sujatha’s career highlights include serving as the former director of geriatrics at the National Centre of Aging, Madras Medical College. She has also been involved in the national-level LASI-DAD study on dementia as a co-PI and is a master trainer for geriatrics and palliative care.
