Brief Profile:
One of the senior-most vascular surgeons in the country, Dr. Sekar was the first in the country to obtain MCh qualification in Vascular Surgery. He was the first vascular surgeon to start endovascular surgery in Tamil Nadu. Nearly all practising vascular surgeons in Tamil Nadu are his students. He has performed one of the highest numbers of limb salvage procedures for diabetic patients in the country.
