World Heart Day wishes to our Cardiology team.

In order to raise awareness on heart health, we had a community connect event today at Elliots Beach. Over 300 people participated in the Walkathon which was flagged off by our senior consultants. This was followed by Zumba, Mime show on heart health and a wonderful demonstration of BLS and usage of AED by Dr Vidya and ER team. Thanks to everyone who participated in the event and made it a grand success.

TRANSTAN

Kauvery Hospital shines bright, as we receive the prestigious award for Best Heart and Lung Transplant Performance from TRANSTAN. Dr Iyappan Ponnuswamy MD, FRCR, MBA our Medical Director and Kumud Dhital Director of Heart and Lung Transplant Program proudly accept this accolade from Tamil Nadu’s Health Secretary Thiru Gagandeep Singh Bedi. A testament to our unwavering commitment to saving lives and transforming healthcare.

The Kauvery Advanced Cardiac Care Unit ( ACCU) was recognised for the exemplary contribution to the field of Cardiology. The department with internationally trained experts has been saving countless lives with advanced treatments and best care.

Expert Discussions on Health in the Workplace

“Health in the Workplace” a panel discussion by the Madras Chamber of Commerce and Industry, brought to the fore the need to recognize the importance of healthcare across various dimensions in the workplace.

Experts from across various industries highlighted the importance of engaging in conversations of mindful workspaces, preventive healthcare practices, importance of sleep and nutrition, safe work environments and creating gender sensitive workplace.

Dr lyappan Ponnuswamy MD, FRCR, MBA Co-Chair of the Healthcare committee of the MCCI concluded the session by encapsulating the importance of this session in the current industry scenario and promised to take forth the recommendations of the discussions to the industry.
