The newer calcium debulking angioplasty technique of orbital atherectomy was introduced for the first time. Shared below is the video of the new procedure.

Calcified ostial left main with TVD in an 80-year aged woman (mother of our speciality nurse) who was deemed unfit for any revascularisation procedures and turned down by multiple hospitals. She was fragile, had CKD and was a bad substrate overall. After explaining the risk of death on the table and with our anaesthesia team’s support, we could pull off a nightmare procedure into a grand success.
