Celebrating the International Day for Women, 08 Mar 23, TEN women authors publish their papers in the NIGHTINGALE, on its 15th March edition!

The NIGHTINGALE is edited by Ms Gethsial Kiruba. As captain, she proudly fields her team of authors.

We open with a guest editorial, on the occasion of the international celebration of women, penned by Ms. Chan Vashum, from Service Excellence, Chennai.

She renders an extraordinary tribute to her intrepid and incredible mother.

This is followed by a paper from Amalorpava Mary, Heart City, on the highlights from the International Patient Safety Conference she attended in Delhi. A video of a Ppt on a related study by her is also presented here.

Renuka Devi, Dietician from Chennai, presents the dietary management of Acute Pancreatitis.

Mahalakshmi, dietician from Heart City, writes on dietary support for a patient who needed a mitral valve replacement.

“Our colleague’s SVT” is an exuberant paper from Hemalatha and Nancy, also from Heart City.

Ramudu and Shiny from Chennai write about their confrontation with ARDS.

Vishnu from Hosur is the sole male author in this issue on clinical matters!

Hosur made bold strides in Mucormycosis management at the peak of COVID. Rightly so, he writes on how to mitigate the toxicity of Amphotericin in this dire disease.

Indumathi from Salem takes us through some vivid diagnostic images.

In celebration of the World Kidney Day on 09 Mar 23, the editors’ desk posts here’ Nephrology for Nurses’, ten abstracts that cover almost the entire spectrum of renal disease, from the current edition of Medicine UK, an Elsevier publication.

Bringing a valuable touch of arts, culture and poetry to the journal is our resident poet, Balasubramani, from Salem, who sings through two poems.

Do read, and sing for the Nightingale

Best regards
