Fascinating experience as a flying angel

Our Experience

In life at some point of time, when we see a bird flying in the sky, I am sure all of us would have had the desire to be like a bird, to glide and float through the sky.

Yes, I got an opportunity to fly as a flying angel from Kauvery hospital, Hosur unit. It was a three days’ trip from Hosur to Trichy through train and Trichy to Chennai by airline and at the last from Chennai to Hosur by bus.

I felt like a princess by the welcoming and hospitality that I received from the team at Trichy and Chennai.

We stayed at a Star Hotel, with all facilities that’s made us to feel so happy and proud to be a Staff Nurse in Kauvery Hospital. We met nurses from other units and got introduced to each other.

Next day morning, we met all our Directors, for the very first time, yet we had a friendly conversation with them about each flying angel experiences. We were very much privileged to have had this moment and that was a fabulous feel!

As the day of my “first flight” came closer my heart was in a state of a joyous curiosity. On that day, as I entered the airport the feeling of endless happiness mixed with nervousness made me feel so thrilled.

As I stepped on to the flight, the experience was very surreal, as I kept climbing higher into the sky, I wondered why I became blind! Then I understood why it was labeled as “Flying Angel’. It was not physical blindness but a divine experience of seeing the purity in the whiteness of the gathering clouds. Who said that only earth has animals and other things?!The pretty clouds also take shapes and forms that excite our imaginations, giving them life like human and animals. As I flew above everything, all things on the earth beneath looked tiny ants.

Nature is filled with many wonders. I felt that sky is the best one among them. Man has created multiple innovations to explore the many wonders of nature, and one of the best innovations was the airplane. Ancient arts are 64 in numbers and one of them is driving. I always felt that the highest form of travel is flying because it takes me high in to the sky. While most people on road travel might complaint about a driver being inefficient due to some bumps on the drive. But I admired the pilots’ skills in every turn and ascent and my pilot did an excellent job. I would say that, he made us feel like real angels in the sky.

My flight journey last 58 min and when I was close to landing my heart weighed me down; my two eyes and one heart felt that these 58 min were not enough to digest this experience. All my imaginary cloud- beings began to become white clouds again, and I landed back on earth at Chennai Airport.

Fly once and see the wonders of nature in, and from, the sky and you would finally relish the human intellect that wishes to explore and enjoy nature.

On the third day at Chennai, we visited Mamallapuram beach and the historically famous monuments built by the Pallava dynasty in the 7th and 8th centuries. We met with Chennai Team and enjoyed shopping too.

The three days of flying angel trip was for mean unforgettable life time experience.  I have only written 2% of my flying angel experience here. I couldn’t find the words to write my whole feeling about flying angel trip. Remaining 98% of experience will cherish in my heart throughout my life time.

I am proud to be a staff Nurse in Kauvery Hospital.

Thanks to Kauvery Hospital and the entire Management for making a dream come true among the clouds where angels belong.
