Background

My name is Menaka, I am working at Kauvery Hospital Hosur as an OT technician. Due to continuous surgeries planned in our OT department our team was unable to participate in any programme. Our organization selected me as FLYING ANGEL. I could not believe that moment. I was surprised. My team members were also very happy to hear this news. I thank my organization for giving me this wonderful opportunity. Our organization called me on Saturday (20.04.2024) and gave me a train and bus ticket. After getting the tickets, I am very happy and I shared my feelings to my family.

First Day

I reached Chennai Corporate Office on Monday (22.04.2024). When I entered the room I saw that, including me, total of nine members were selected as FLYING ANGELS. I decided to get to know them all. Our corporate office staff and HR invited us to the occasion and gave Rs. 6000 towards related expenses. They treated us like their family. Later we went Express Avenue and Marina Beach. They had arranged all the facilities for staying.

Second Day

Before sunrise we woke up, feeling fresh. We were really excited because it was our first time travelling in a flight. As we travelled from Chennai to Bangalore, I felt like I was floating in the sky like a star and the clouds were closer to me than ever before. In Bangalore, our team welcomed us with flowers, after that we went to see the city. It felt like I was in the Himalayas-it was too cold. Our favorite part of the day was playing with ice balls. Later, we went to the Haunted House, which was a thrilling moment.

Third Day

After going to the exhibition Visvesvaraya Industries and seeing the planetarium, we went to Kauvery Marathahalli Hospital, where the directors and doctors welcomed us and gifted us with a wrist watch. Also we saw the Operation Theatre settings in that hospital and we left from that place.

The three days were a very memorable experience in my life. I would like to thank our organization from the bottom of my heart for arranging this wonderful trip. I felt very safe and secure during the whole trip. Once again I would like to thank my HR team as well as my DNS for giving me this wonderful opportunity. I am delighted to be working for Kauvery Hospital.
