SIX nightingales (including a male!) Karthiga from Hosur, Velmurugan from Salem, Vijayalakshmi, Suriya, Jasmine and Ramunapriya from Heart City sing proudly, knowledgeably and confidently, through four articles, about Nursing at Kauvery Hospitals!

Rajeswari from Salem and Mahalakshmi from Heart City write competently and comprehensively about Healthy Diets for people working on night shifts and Heart Healthy Diet, respectively. They are very useful reads.

Gobi and Anwardeen, clinical pharmacists who are leaving us shortly, write their

” Last Hurrah ‘on the Cutting-edge CART Therapy and on the HPV vaccine respectively. Unlike the expensive former, which is immunotherapy for cancer, the latter is an affordable wonder, a single dose of which shall prevent the deadly scourge of young women of India – Cervical Cancer.

Two seminal events in Kauvery are reported next.

Kiruba reports on the HOSPITalk 2023, a Young Healthcare Nurse Managers Conference organized at Skill Bay Academy, Trichy on 26th May & 2nd June 2023. A total of 30 nurses participated, with 10 from each unit of Trichy.

Dr Augustine Sylvester Stallone, who shares a Hollywood Super star’s name, writes, along with his colleagues, and seniors in Business Development, on a stunning victory for Kauvery Hospital Hosur on their Journey to Winning National Level CII QC Competition Against the Industrial Sectors.

We have two poets on this issue. Bala from Salem is familiar to you. But Vasanth from IT is a surprise! His poem sings the praise of nurses, just as that of Bala’s.

The issue winds up with the second edition, from the Editor’s desk, on ‘Hepatology for Nurses’
