September, A month to remember our teachers and thank them.

We are definitely what we are today only because of the knowledge given to us by our teachers. This day is so special … we can show our love and gratitude to our teachers. Sending them a wish today means so much to them.

“Matha,Pitha, Guru,Theivam”

  • This is a very common phrase, but on Teacher’s day, I have a special interpretation for it.
  • Guru is the one who moulds us and brings out the best in us.
  • Well, when we mean teachers they include the teachers from birth to death because knowledge is a never-ending process.
  • Every day we learn something and every day we teach something.
  • Yes. Therefore, everyone is an inborn teacher.
  • A baby learns its first lesson to cry for its needs. It is purely a natural God given blessing.
  • We learn to love from our parents – Matha and Pitha. We learn to communicate, be friendly and also learn to fight… from our loving siblings and friends.
  • We learn a healthy competitive attitude and get academic knowledge from our teachers.
  • We learn to be active from our colleagues.
  • So, as a parent, sibling, friend, boss we are all constantly teaching someone some values.
  • So, everyone is a teacher. And not to forget in our old age our children become our teachers. They teach us many more things like technology etc.
  • So, TEACHERS DAY is a day for each and every one of us to celebrate.
  • Let’s teach others good values and morals so as to make this world a wonderful place to live.
