Mango Panna Cotta
Summer is here and so is the season of mangoes. Here is an exotic recipe which looks like its taken from a glossy magazine, but easy to make. Try this dessert. Sure to be a hit. Tastes good as well as looks good.
Method:
- For Mango Layer:
- Repeat same as above for gelatine.
- Put mangoes in a blender add sugar and purée. Add gelatine mix and purée again.
- Layer this over the coconut milk layer which is in the freezer.
- Leave this in the fridge to set for 3-4 hrs.
- Serve with sliced mangoes on top.
- Coconut milk layer:
- Take one tbsp gelatine in a bowl add 3 tbsp water and soak for 5 min. Heat on low heat till it melts. Set aside
- Pour fresh cream, coconut cream (or milk & sugar) in a sauce pan bring to a simmer low heat. Don’t boil. Remove from heat add vanilla & gelatine mix. Mix well.
- Pour in small moulds and freeze for 30 min to an hour.
