Brief Profile
Dr Nithya P. J. is an acclaimed Fertility Specialist, Obstetrician and Gynaecologist. She has many years of experience in the field of reproductive medicine and has completed her education from some of the premier medical schools in India. She completed her MS (OBG) from Manipal University and then worked at St John’s Hospital, Bengaluru. She then completed her fellowship in Reproductive Medicine from CMC Vellore and worked there. She is extremely skilled at handling all cases of male and female infertility. PCOS, poor ovarian reserve, endometriosis, customised ovarian stimulation for poor responders and recurrent implantation failure are some of her areas of expertise.
Her treatment ranges from ICSI, sperm donor programme, microsurgical sperm retrieval for males, cryopreservation of embryos/oocytes in cancer patients to pre-implantation genetic diagnosis (PGD). She has several publications in Indian and international journals and is actively involved in research to improve success rates of various fertility treatments.
