Dear Enthusiastic Readers,

Welcome to March!

Exactly a year from the pandemic, and we have got the vaccine for Covid-19. Kauvery Hospital is more than happy to extend its support to the government to take part in vaccinating the public from today.

This month is very special because it celebrates the distinct creation of the creator… WOMAN! So, let’s celebrate her presence in our lives.

A woman, as we all know, is a multitasker who plays a very important role at home, the community, the society and at the office.

The Lancet famously said that, “NORMALITY AT HOME IS DEFINED BY THE MOTHER”. She’s a joyous daughter, a warm-hearted sibling, a responsible daughter-in-law, a caring wife, a compassionate mother, a trustworthy friend and the list of the roles she plays goes on.

When we celebrate HER, we also thank the MEN who have always respected and supported women, to live their lives fulfilled with self-respect and achieve their goals.

As much as we understand, appreciate and celebrate her, the bitter truth is that millions of women all over the world are left behind to face marginalization. They need the support of the society to overcome innumerable hurdles. Every woman needs to take the initiative to realize her full potential. The women who are fortunate to have been successful should always support the education and training of other women and create opportunities for them to pursue their dreams and ambitions.

Success is embellished when it is founded on gratitude for the opportunity received. It is blemished when it generates a sense of superiority and ego.

A woman lays the foundation of a stable home; safe guarding her health has to be a priority for the family. Her physical and mental health define harmony at home. When the woman is down, the house of cards falls apart.

This edition is penned especially in her honour.

Happy Woman’s Day!

Have a blessed month ahead.
