53-year-old Parkinson’s disease patient regains normalcy through Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) surgery at Kauvery Hospital, Vadapalani
Chennai, 9th February, 2024: Kauvery Hospital, Vadapalani successfully performed Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) surgery for 53-year-old Parkinson’s disease patient who had been suffering for more than a decade.
The 53-year-old was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease and was experiencing severe motor fluctuations and brief on-time lasting only 30 minutes and underwent a Bilateral Subthalamic Nucleus Deep Brain Stimulation.
