Kauvery Hospital Alwarpet launches 360° Parkinson’s Wellness: A Comprehensive Approach to Parkinson’s Care
Chennai, 24th April 2024: – Kauvery Hospital Alwarpet, a unit of Kauvery Group of Hospitals launched the 360° Parkinson’s Wellness, a specialized clinic dedicated to offering a holistic approach to Parkinson’s care. Building upon the success of our Parkinson’s family support group, Priyam, which was started 3 years ago, the initiative aims at providing care beyond medications. This approach has benefited the patients at large providing better outcomes.
360° Parkinson’s Wellness is an extension of this initiative, designed to provide comprehensive care for individuals living with Parkinson’s disease. Our clinic offers a wide range of services, including physiotherapy, diet counselling, psychology counselling, medication management.
Detailed assessment for patients who can benefit from DBS (Deep Brain Stimulation) for Parkinson’s and Injection medication for Parkinson’s like Apomorphin will be provided as part of the clinic. By combining these services into one comprehensive program, we aim to enhance the overall quality of life for our patients and empower them to live well with Parkinson’s.
To begin with, the clinic will be open monthly once where the patients will be assessed and given recommendations for supportive treatments. The team will work collaboratively to develop customized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s specific needs.
