Dr Moose Kunhi M Kis a highly accomplished clinician with 34 years of experience in cardio thoracic & vascular surgery, and his surgical expertise covers cardiac surgery in adults and children, aortic & vascular surgery, and thoracic surgery.He is also trained in HeartTransplant Surgery at German HeartInstitute, Berlin, Germany in2015.
His interest in cardio thoracic & vascular surgery started while he was doing his undergraduate medical degree and increased manifold during his postgraduate training in MS, both at Calicut Medical College, Kerala, when he completed his thesis.He is also the proud alumnus of TrivandrumMedical College,Kerala, where he completed his M.Ch in CTVS.
During his extensive career, Dr Moose Kunhigainedcritical expertise in operating both adults and children, having performed more than 10,000 surgeries across the globe, which includes 4000+ bypass surgeries (on pump), 3000+ bypass surgeries (off pump), 1500+ heart valve surgeries, 1000+ congenital cardiac surgeries, and 500+ thoracic surgeries.
He has managed several high-risk CTVSsurgeries, including bypass surgery in chronic renal failure cases, Mitral Repair,Mitral,Aortic, Double Valve Replacement, heart tumours, and other complex open heart surgeries in adults.
