Wishing you all a very Happy October, dear readers!
Let us welcome October with its promise of cooling the heat with the northeast monsoons towards the later part of the month.
This month is dear to my heart as it begins with an important awareness day – World Elders Day.
The theme for this year is “Ageing with Dignity”.
Another equally important awareness day shall be celebrated on 10th October – World Mental Health Day.
Ageing with dignity is an absolute necessity for everyone to keep us physically and mentally healthy and vice versa.
“Long live” is the blessing we always receive from our elders.

Older individuals are vital members of the community, offering mentorship and taking up caregiving roles.

The single most important question that one tends to ask the dermatologist is – “Do I need sunscreen and is it good for my skin?”
Using sunscreen helps protect the skin’s appearance and wellness, irrespective of age. Regular use has many significant benefits. These include preventing sunburn, skin cancer and early ageing. The best type of sunscreen is one that you will use again and again. So, always make sure it offers broad spectrum coverage (UVA and UVB) protection and has a minimum of SPF 30 and above. A sunscreen that is water-resistant is ideal. Interestingly, SPF50 offers only marginally better protection from UV radiation compared to SPF30.

RFA is therefore best considered in long-term pain conditions – in degenerative spine, various joint arthritis and chronic neuropathic pain conditions. Various kinds of RFA techniques are available for specific sites and ailments. In this article, we will see the conditions and treatment benefits of RF ablation.

Hello Kauvery Hospital Master health check-up , Mylapore – My wife and me came for master health check up on 09 September. I am pleasantly surprised by Chandrakala call at 6:45 am to welcome us for master health check-up and any help / support needed. The reception experience was pleasant and absolutely smiling faces makes our experience best. Chandrakala guided us in all the pit stops we got to do and she efficiently managed who has to go where to get all our test done quickly. She stayed until all our test are over and took our feedback as when to consult with doctor. The next day she was promptly helping us to consult with doctor and checking out whereabouts. We have been to many top hospitals but never had such a pleasant as Kauvery and Chandrakala made a big impact on the Kauvery brand.
