Launch of SALT-Save a Life Today. Sponsor a Dialysis
Chennai Kidney Club along with Kauvery Hospital launched SALT (Save A Life Today) initiative on 1st January 2018, started with an aim to sponsor one dialysis, free every day.
How it works:
Contribute Rs. 2000 and sponsor one dialysis in a year. Specify one day – be it your birthday, wedding day or any other significant day – to sponsor the free dialysis to a needy patient.
50 % of our patients have insurance cover and the rest pay for themselves. These patients who need assi stance for their treatment will benefit. Do spread the word for massive community participation. Many patients, friends and well-wishers have come forward to contribute to this noble cause.
Dr.Aravindan Selvaraj, Executive Director, Kauvery Hospital, along with the Prime Mover of SALT, Mr. Bhalubhai Gopalan and Chief Nephrologist, Kauvery Hospital, Dr.R.Balasubramaniyam gave the cheque to Mr.Gopalakrishnan the first recipient.
