I requested Dr. Sham Santhanam, Chennai, our colleague devoted to popularizing good scientific writing in Medicine to review the excellent book ‘How to Practice Academic Medicine and Publish from Developing Countries, a Practical Guide’ by Samiran Nundy, Atul Kakar, Zulfiqar A. Bhutta, three outstanding writers who together launched long back the ‘ National Medical Journal’, India’s finest medical journal.

Dr. Sham’s review, as expected, is excellent. On the day of publication of the KAUVERIAN, we shall also post the soft copy of the book as a bonus fotr our esteemed readers
