Hello Our Dear Enthusiastic K-Way Readers!

The celebratory days that began with the 77th Independence Day on August 15th rolled into a bright, beautiful and buoyant week that culminated in a brilliant achievement that catapulted the country to an adventurous trajectory, orbit and mission.

An intelligent, imaginative, industrious, inventive and innovative INDIA initiated an inspired launch that later descended to an immaculate landing, on the South side of the moon, of Chandrayaan-3, on August 23rd, which made the world sit up and notice a resurgent and resourceful INDIA.

This is indeed a great moment to rejoice for all of us.

We celebrate this success, thankful to our ISRO scientists who engineered this proud moment and dedicated that to the nation.

The landing of Chandrayaan-3, a historical milestone, delivers to us the message that hard work always works!

Undoubtedly, there are other golden messages too, for each one of us.

Every second mattered during the launch and flight of Chandrayaan-3. There were tense and critical moments for the scientists who monitored its progress.

Every action of each member of this team mattered, in ensuring the success of this launch.

The huge challenges they encountered through the genesis of this project may already be receding into memory and history.

The carry home messages for us from this experience and exhilaration come from our old and wise proverbs, which are of timeless value!

Teamwork succeeds.

Five sticks tied together firmly are stronger than one (Panchatantra).

Failures are stepping stones to success.

Every second counts in life and work.

Procrastination is the thief of time.

Rome was not built in a day!

A stitch in time saves nine.

Health is wealth.

Do not postpone your health check, your first consultation, your first test, your first procedure, and your review.

Do today, what you wish to postpone to tomorrow!

Scarlet O’Hara once famously said, “Tomorrow is another day; I shall worry about this tomorrow.”

That is why the book on her came to be called “Gone with the Wind!”

The time, the day, the moment, the opportunity, they all go away. Seize them in time.

We just need to find the time; make the time, dear readers.

World Geriatric Day is coming around next month and our colleagues at Vadapalani have already extended their senior citizens’ check-ups. Hope our senior citizens will take the time to benefit to the fullest from our healthcare initiatives.

As Chandrayaan-3 conquers the moon, Kauvery Hospitals conquer the hearts of patients.

We are proud to extend our health care services for the welfare of our society.

We love to be connected with everyone every month through K-Way.

Looking forward to creating the next edition soon!

This is the team of K-Way wishing you all a great month ahead.

I would love to know what you think about our monthly newsletter. Feel free to give your feedback via WhatsApp +91 98406 47533 or by email communication@kauveryhospital.com.

As we step into this new month, we want you to know that we’re here for you – not just as a hospital, but as a place of solace and support. Before we fully embrace the September vibes, let’s take a heartfelt moment to reflect on the month that just passed – August. At Kauvery Hospital, we believe that every experience, every encounter is a chance to learn and grow.

August was more than just a month on the calendar for us – it was a canvas painted with vibrant hues of learning and development. As a hospital that thrives on the principle of continuous improvement, we’re the place where learning never, ever takes a vacation. Why? Nursing Leadership Development Program

Each month, our senior supervisors and nursing leaders embark on a journey of growth. In August, our supervisors and nursing leaders delved into the art of crafting effective leadership strategies. In a world where data shapes decisions, our leaders embarked on a journey to decipher the stories hidden within HR data. Through meticulous analysis, they uncovered patterns and trends related to people management. They explored innovative approaches that empower their teams, and nurture a positive work environment.

Life is unpredictable, and crises can arise in any domain, including nursing. Our team embraced the opportunity to learn from the experiences of various companies through insightful case studies. By dissecting real-world scenarios, our leaders gained a profound understanding of crisis management techniques. This knowledge equips them to navigate challenges with poise and effectiveness, ensuring that our patients and staff receive the best care even in the face of adversity.

The Nursing Leadership Development program at Kauvery Hospital isn’t just a routine – it’s a transformative journey that empowers our leaders to make a lasting impact on healthcare.

Launch of Amputation Free Tamil Nadu Program

In observance of World Vascular Surgery Day on 6th August, Dr Sekar Foundation and Kauvery Hospital Alwarpet are raising awareness about “Amputation Free Tamil Nadu’.

Globally every minute someone is getting a major amputation done and the most common causes for amputation are injury and diabetes. India is the diabetic capital of the world and it is estimated that there are 101 million diabetics in India out of which 6-7 % of them develop vascular complications.

“Awareness about vascular diseases is significantly low and many limbs are lost because of minor surgery on diabetic patients without checking for the vascularity of the foot. At every forum we have been telling all the doctors that no foot surgery should be done on diabetic patients without making sure that the blood supply of the limb is adequate,” says Dr N Sekar, Chief Vascular Surgeon at Kauvery Hospital Alwarpet is also a Pioneer in Vascular Surgery in India.
