I, Allamma joined at Kauvery Hospital, Salem. I will talk to you about my experience at Kauvery Hospital, Salem.

Long back, in 2018, I was searching for a job. During that time, one of my friends Mrs. Agnes talked to me about Kauvery Hospital, acquired from Southern Hospital.

I came for an interview on 30.07.2018. As I specialized in OT Nursing, various doctors interviewed me and I was selected; I was very happy. I joined on the same day.

Being an OT Scrub nurse, I had many opportunities to develop my skills by assisting with different surgeries. Within a short time, I was promoted to senior staff nurse/scrub nurse at OT.

I had the opportunity to assist with a cadaver liver and kidney transplant which was my first experience in assisting the transplant unit. I was very much excited. I was able to learn a lot during that case. It was done successfully. I must thank the hospital management for giving me such an opportunity in my life.

I had a step-by-step growth over the past five years.

A high point during these five years was my selection as the best nurse, which was recognized and awarded at the N4 (Numma Nurse Nalla Nurse) congress, organized at Kauvery group level.

Sometime after my selection as the best nurse, our Managing director Dr. Manivannan announced the Flying Angels project, and I had the opportunity to fly in the air for the first time.

I joined many other programmes, participated in various competitions and got prizes for that as well. I was selected to be a 5S zone leader by Mr. Selvam. It was a good opportunity to develop my leadership qualities. Thank you, Sir!

Then Last year I was promoted as a nursing supervisor in OT.

So, I was fortunate to achieve growth in my career every year.

We must prove ourselves by putting all our efforts towards patient care and clinical improvement.

I would like to thank Mr. Selvam, Facility Director, HR, Nursing Superintendent, Assistant Nursing Superintendent, Quality Head and OT In charge for being with me, guiding and encouraging me to go ahead. Thanks to all of you.
