Peripheral nerve tumor – Peripheral nerve tumors are growths that develop on or within the peripheral nerves. These tumors can be (non-cancerous) or malignant (cancerous). Peripheral nerves are the nerves outside the brain and spinal cord that extend throughout the body, connecting various tissues and organs to the central nervous system.
Peripheral nerve injuries – Peripheral nerve injuries involve damage to the nerves outside the brain and spinal cord, collectively referred to as the peripheral nervous system. These nerves are responsible for transmitting signals between the central nervous system (brain and spinal cord) and the rest of the body, controlling movements, sensations, and various functions.
