Dr Anusha A.S. has served as a programme manager for the Universal Health Coverage Scheme, funded by the Government of India and carried out by the Government of Tamilnadu, while employed as an assistant surgeon under the Directorate of Public Health and Preventive Medicine.

Dr. Anusha manages routine OPD services, provides consultations for MHC patients, refers patients to relevant specialties/IP who need further management, conducts health camps at various OHC clinics throughout Chennai and surrounding areas, and gives health talks to staff members and employees who visit the OHC clinics. She is also certified and trained sonologist with 2 years of working experience in abdominal and obstetric ultrasound in a fertility clinic.
