Brief Profile:

Dr Thendral is a Clinical Lead and Senior Consultant who specialises in Obstetrics, Gynaecology and Minimally Invasive Surgery at Kauvery Hospital, Radial Road. She has over 18 years of experience in the field of Obstetrics, and Gynaecology. She has done her under-graduation and postgraduate training in prestigious institutions and has excellent clinical acumen. She completed her MBBS in Madras Medical College and did her postgraduate training in OBG in JIPMER, Pondicherry.

She is passionate about providing comprehensive care to antenatal mothers through pregnancy, childbirth and postpartum. She supports mothers in their much anticipated birthing experience. She is known for minimal interventions and her calm and optimistic approach towards patients in achieving normal deliveries.

She has vast experience in the management of high-risk pregnancies. Her areas of interest are high risk obstetrics, gynaecological laparoscopy, hysteroscopic surgeries, and gynaecological oncology. She has experience in performing colposcopy procedures for abnormal pap smears. She is keen in providing alternative solutions to hysterectomy like endometrial ablation, myomectomy, hysteroscopic polypectomy, LNG-IUS insertion, etc.

She has performed many laparoscopic gynaecological surgeries for various indications like uterine fibroids, adenomyosis, ovarian cysts, ectopic pregnancies, infertility, etc. She has earned a reputation for her meticulous surgeries and her compassionate nature towards patients. Her laparoscopic hysterectomy and daycare surgeries are well received by patients.
