Dr. Saravanan Balachandran
Dr Saravanan received his medical degree from the prestigious Stanley Medical College followed by surgical training at Madurai Medical College and M.Ch Vascular Surgery from Stanley Medical College. He specialises in both open and endovascular surgeries. He is an expert in carotid revascularisation procedures like carotid stenting, carotid endarterectomy, and carotid bypass procedures.
He is an expert in both upper and lower limb revascularisation procedures. He is experienced in treating aortic diseases. He has performed TEVAR (Thoracic Endovascular Aortic Repair) for thoracic aortic dissection, thoracic aneurysms, EVAR (Endovascular Aneurysm Repair) for aortic aneurysm. He is an expert in treating varicose veins with the latest endovenous procedures like radiofrequency ablation, MOCA (Mechanico Chemical Ablation), Endovenous Laser Ablation and Foam Sclerotherapy. His passion to treat lymphatic disorders of the lower limbs is commendable.
