Mango Sago

A dessert that is perfect for the summer season, this luscious mango-based pudding is a dreamy end to every meal.

Ingredients:

  • Sago/Sabudana pearls, soaked – ½ cup
  • Mango cubes – 1 –  1½ cup
  • Coconut milk – 3/4th cup
  • Condensed milk – 2 tbsp.
  • Milk – 1/4th cup

Method

  • Soak the sago pearls in water till they are soft (around 2 hours).
  • Strain and boil the sago pearls in water. Stop boiling when they turn translucent (around 20 minutes).
  • Strain them once again and hold them under cold running water to prevent them from sticking together.
  • Blend milk, coconut milk and condensed milk with the mango cubes. The end result should be a smooth puree.
  • Take a glass, add some sago pearls followed by the mango puree. Top with the remaining sago pearls.
  • Serve chilled.
