28th Road Safety Week
Kauvery Hospital, Trichy in collaboration with the Tiruchirappalli City Police celebrates the 28th Road Safety Week from 17th January to 23rd January 2017. To raise awareness to the public about wearing helmets while driving two-wheeler to prevent road accidents, a “Bike rally with helmet”, was organized on 18th of January.
The rally was flagged off by Mr.Prabakaran, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Crime and Traffic, Cantonment. Handouts and pamphlets were distributed to the public to raise awareness on wearing helmet to ensure safe travel. There were more than 300 participants in the rally, taking forward this noble mission of creating awareness on road safety, enabling a paradigm-shift in the society.
