Cadaver Donor Saves Two lives
Kauvery hospital (Specialties-Cantonment, Trichy) performed a cadaver transplant saving lives. Mr.Senthilkumar of Mellapatti village was brain-dead after a gory road accident. The relatives were immediately informed about his medical condition, and they were willing to donate the organs of Mr.Senthilkumar. Two kidneys and two corneas (Eyes) were retrieved on 10/3/17 and donated. The kidney recipients were two patients of Kauvery Hospitals. His eyes were donated to a private eye hospital.
