In addition to our nephrologists, we are proud to introduce our urology experts, led by Dr. Vijay Kumar, a senior urologist with over 30 years of experience, and Dr. Aarthy, a skilled robotic surgeon. Dr. Swaminathan Sambandam, a renowned expert with 20 years of expertise in Multi-Organ Transplantation and Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary (HPB) surgery, leads our department. He has performed over 750 liver transplants and more than 1000 kidney transplants, including the second youngest Pediatric living donor liver transplant in the state. He has also conducted more than 1000 kidney transplants, making Kauvery Hospital the first and only team in Tamil Nadu to perform Robotic Kidney Transplantation, with over 20 successful cases in very obese patients.
